About the GGBB Foundation

We’re creating the new framework for the metropolitan small town in Hudson, NY— for global change.

The bottom line for business is always going to be money. The bottom line for politics is always going to be power. The bottom line for humanity needs to be compassion— for yourself and others.

So as a community and a people, we need to set the standard and guidelines for all things life: culture, social advocacy, sustainability, human-centered technology. the local business and political organizations will then step up to the standards we set. And have them revolve around us as opposed to life revolving around money and politics.

About the Founder, GG Melina

A social entrepreneur on the cutting edge

——

GGBB Foundation founder, Cy Melina-Kai Lauz, is a social entrepreneur, designer, and activist based in the Hudson Valley of New York.

She started GGBB  seeing a need for equity-based employment for single mothers.

Orphaned as an infant, Melina immigrated to Jersey City as a first generation Filipino immigrant. Growing up in the most diverse city in America, she saw first hand how socially conscious innovation can change the course of a life.

Melina’s passion is creating innovative solutions to social challenges. In 2013, she became a global viral sensation when she launched Chrysalis Lingerie, the world's first underwear brand for transgender women. Chrysalis Lingerie was also the first niche indy-fashion brand with an integral social component for LGBTQ advocacy.

Ms. Lauz, alongside 100 other notable women, is featured in the New York Times best seller, "In The Company of Women", for her entrepreneurial innovation and transgender and human-rights work. Melina has also been featured in Fashionista, Design Sponge, Huffington Post, Style Network, and Buzzfeed.
